This will mark the companys 12th regional fitness event which has been held on college campuses including UCLA and Arizona State and sports venues across the country from Seattle to Atlanta since 2008.

This years event at the University of Kentucky features elements of the Physical Standards Test (PST) for two of Americas elite military Special Operations Forcesthe Navy SEALs and the Army Rangers. The LAND version has no pool time but provides additional ground to cover with the very special weighted-vest 3 mile run. On hand to encourage participants will be former Special Operations personnel to serve as mentors for the day.

The Challenge was created to bring attention to physical fitness and offer new ways to test fitness levels by conquering new challenges in fitness, Brainbox President Rick Ford said. We have worked extensively in the fitness community for over a decade and wanted to build something here in Lexington that adds new opportunities and encourages a healthy lifestyle.

The GAFC will take place at the University of Kentuckys award winning campus facilities, in the heart of UKs Sport Complex.
