ROCHESTER, N.H.

Rochester police are still asking for the public's help in connection with a violent attack outside a Planet Fitness.

Police are trying to identify the man they said attacked a young woman as she left her shift about 10 p.m. on June 12 at Planet Fitness.

Surveillance video shows him approaching her from behind.

Police said he then knocked her to the ground and hit her 39 times.

We're still asking for the public's help to look at the video, review it, if they hear anything, if anything seems familiar, if they remember being in the area in a car that fits that description, just anything they can do to help, Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said.

The 18-year-old woman was not seriously hurt.

Police believe she was specifically targeted, and that the public is not in danger.
