Thank you for coming again My name is Linda helping women's coach And I have a special guest who's gonna talk about how to overcome circumstances how to be what he says But she the unattainable His name is several King How are you doing sir I'm doing fantastic So what I was able to do over the last two decades 2.5 decades is I chose to serve my country right there in North Carolina and one of the greatest place I think you could go to where things are not always going to be easy Things are not always going to be readily available at all times But what you have to do is use whatever you've been given on right and turn it into an asset Turn it into something toe where you are now on top so to speak And that is the mentality that I've taken every single day since then Fort Bragg I became airborne Ranger United States Army everyone ranger and ended up retiring as a master start I made last May last deployment to Afghanistan I was injured and I stepped on in high which took both off my legs I am I am now a double amputee but I don't look at it as I don't look at it as some terrible thing that has happened to that That's not necessarily a bad thing when we are taken off of our past expectations it said That expectation is the seed of depression was state of insight Your expectations would you expect to have it's not happening is the seed of a lot of depression and for me going into it just like what record taught me going into every situation with no expectations and taking whatever like to give you to me And that is for my good having a bad attitude anywhere having a bad attitude during our moments Right now it will kill you quicker by having a bad attitude And maybe maybe some of the enemies and some of the viruses having a positive attitude can keep you alive Even in the worst situation Military personnel that are listening to this they know this philosophy just as well as I do The wellness starts with the mind as well
