Olly Murs wanted to lose weight to impress his girlfriend's brothers.

The 'Please Don't Let Me Go' hitmaker dropped an impressive amount of weight earlier this year in a bit to get on the same "level" as Amelia Tanks siblings when they holidayed together in Bali.

He said: "I had gone through a big year with my injured knee that I got quite big and I ate quite a lot because I was sat around doing nothing. My knee was getting better and I started training again. I was going to Bali at the start of the year and I wanted to get fit for it because Amelias brothers are so ripped. I wanted to get on their level. When we came back from Bali, lockdown kicked in and I put all the weight back on. My body doesnt look like it does in those photos now."

However, Olly admits his weight does "fluctuate", although he is "quite trim" at the moment.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, he added of his changing weight: "My weight does fluctuate. I am quite trim at the minute. I feel the best I have felt in a long time. I train quite a bit. I do it because I love it and I train to eat. I know if I train I can have a McDonalds after."

Meanwhile, Olly previously revealed he has been learning to bake in lockdown.

The 36-year-old singer said: Ive tried to stay active throughout I have to always be doing something, so I have been doing a lot of Lego and out cycling loads. I have been learning to bake and although Ive never been much of a chef in the kitchen, my best one yet is a baked Alaska. I love cake and ice cream so combining them together was pretty cool. Ive also been playing the piano loads and learning more about the instrument enjoying things I dont usually get the chance to do."
