U FIT Fitness and Wellness Moves into New Bigger Location in Godfrey – RiverBender.com

GODFREY - U FIT Fitness and Wellness opened up a brand new location in Godfrey just a few weeks ago.
The business expansion was an exciting one for co-owners Aaron Scott and Lawrence Gordon. After outgrowing their old location, Scott partnered up with Gordon to get a bigger space to house even more clients. U FIT offers a huge array of workouts, from private training to group classes and boot camps, they offer something for everyone. Their new location has not only given them more space, but the opportunity to bring in a low of new equipment for their clients to utilize. Offering an even wider array of ways for their clients to get fit.
Fitness is something that Ive enjoyed for a long time. I thought why not turn that into something bigger and expand on it. So I opened up my first location, outgrew it, and just kept at it, eventually moving into where we are now said Scott.
It is evident that all of the trainers at U FIT are passionate about what they do. Creating personalized workout plans with each of their clients, and even helping out with meal planning, the staff shapes their focus for each individual. Their variety of classes allow their clients to select a workout specifically for their needs, they offer core, full body, upper body, and lifting classes, just to name a few.
We dont just do personal training here. Anyone who is interested can just stop by for our classes. No commitment, just come to a class and get a feel. We have a lot of clients who are just attending classes and not doing any one-on-one training, said Gordon.
U FIT Fitness and Wellness is located at 200 Curvey St. in Godfrey, right off of Homer Adams Parkway. For more information check out their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/UFITANDWELLNESS/

The Best Portable Fitness Gear to Stay Fit While Traveling – The Manual

Thankfully, for travelers, hotel gyms have steadily improved in the last decade. Still, many hotel fitness centers (we stress the quotes) are little more than dark, cement cubes with rusty free weights, a flickering TV perpetually tuned to Days of Our Lives, and a treadmill papered with a handwritten Out of Order sign. If you value your fitness routine, even when miles from home, it pays to be prepared with a compact yet versatile workout kit. Here is the best portable fitness gear to stay fit, even from the comfort of your hotel room while traveling.
Fitness experts have championed the utility of resistance bands for years. Theyre a godsend for fitness-conscious travelers as theyre ultra-compact and lightweight perfect for tossing in a suitcase. MVNs four-pack of resistance bands is 12 inches long by two inches wide and folds completely flat. The best part, however, is that theyre incredibly versatile. Easy-to-read diagrams printed on the bands, coupled with step-by-step instructions via the companys free app, provide everything you need for full-body strength-training on the go. For a more full-featured alternative, TheFitLifes Exercise Resistance Bands are part of a comprehensive kit that includes large handles, ankle straps, and a door anchor attachment.
The jump rope hasnt changed since the earliest days of Double Dutch. For fitness enthusiasts, jumping rope is a simple yet practical addition to any cardio regimen. Just about any length of rope will get the job done. However, if you want to up your rope-jumping game, invest in a well-made jump rope kit. Crossropes jump rope kits are made from durable, braided steel with pro-grade handles that feature ball bearings and ergonomic grips. The interchangeable ropes are sold in varying weights designed to personalize your particular workout based on whether your goal is getting lean or getting strong. The accompanying free app also features dozens of targeted exercises to keep things interesting.
It might look like yet another as-seen-on-TV exercise gadget, but ab rollers are a great addition to any portable workout kit. The low-tech device disassembles in seconds for easy packing into even a carry-on suitcase, then reassembles quickly when youre ready to roll. Many ab rollers are bulky and heavy, but the Fitnessery Ab Roller weighs only 1.5 pounds. The steady, repetitive back-and-forth motion is surprisingly effective at strengthening your core, lats, and triceps.
The idea of packing any kind of ladder might seem counterintuitive to travelers. But, agility ladders like the Speed and Agility Ladder from SKLZ are ideal for on-the-go workout enthusiasts. They work by creating a defined floor grid to practice footwork and coordination, whether as part of a warm-up routine or as a full-body cardio workout unto itself. Rob Gronkowski swears by them: Agility ladder drills are a MUST before all my workouts. They work to strengthen my joints, ligaments, and tendons while improving my pre-workout coordination and focus. Theyre packable, inexpensive, and can be unrolled and used almost anywhere, including most average hotel rooms. An even cheaper and more portable alternative is to pack a roll of masking tape and line out a makeshift agility ladder on the floor of your hotel room.
Unless you want wheeling your suitcase to be an actual workout, free weights might be the least realistic piece of portable workout equipment for travelers. Water-filled dumbbells, however, take the dumb out of dumbbells by relying instead on water weight. Aquabells Dumbbells are a simple, all-in-one kit that includes the horizontal bars and fillable, sealed, donut-shaped reservoirs that serve as the weights. The design also allows you to dial-in the exact weight needed for your personal workout regimen.
Exercise sandbags are among the most basic, yet effective fat-burning, strength-training workout tools. Theyre essentially ultra-durable duffel bags with inserts designed to be filled with sand (or, for travelers, water) and used for HIIT workouts. Each of the kits from Ultimate Body Press available in two sizes packs down to about the size of a medium-sized shoe box. When youre ready to work out, simply fill the inserts to the desired weight (up to 105 pounds) using any standard faucet and get ready to lift.
Actively protecting your joints is critical to any fitness routine. Unfortunately, more and more hotels are ditching traditional carpeting for laminate flooring. Those hard surfaces can be brutal for your extended morning yoga sessions. The Jade Harmony Mat is a lightweight, portable solution. At 24 inches wide by 68 inches long, its roomy enough for almost any stretch. Most importantly, the 3/16 thickness is enough to cushion your knees and elbows, yet firm enough to provide adequate stability for standing poses.
Core sliders are deceptively simple, but theyre a near-perfect portable fitness tool. The flat plastic discs are typically sold in pairs that can be tossed into a carry-on while taking up minimal space. The dual-sided versions like those sold by Synergee can be used on both carpet and hardwood flooring, so theyre ideal for use in almost any hotel room. They help facilitate a wide variety of full-body exercises to strengthen your core, back, legs, and joints. Plus, theyre also one of the cheapest pieces of portable fitness gear on this list.
Stability balls also known as yoga balls, Swiss balls, or just exercise balls work by providing a round, unstable surface designed to target a wide range of major and minor muscles. The most portable versions pack down flat but inflate with a basic air pump in less than a minute. The GoFit Professional Grade Stability Ball is available in three sizes, depending on the height of the user. An included DVD and printed how-to guide both provide easy-to-follow stretches and exercises to strengthen your core, back, shoulders, and just about every other part of your body.
Like stability balls, foam rollers work by providing a round, rollable surface that targets small and large muscle groups. The design is also ideal for aggressive self-massage of the back, feet, and legs the most common parts of the body to stiffen and cramp during long-haul travel. Its a portable, near-perfect therapy and recovery device. Typical foam rollers are solid and occupy a lot of luggage space. As the name implies, the unique design of the Pro-Tec Athletics Hollow Core Foam Roller allows for packing loose bits of clothing or valuables inside the tube.
A reusable water bottlehardly takes up that much space in a typical carry-on or messenger bag. But, if youre the sort of traveler who values every cubic inch of luggage space, a collapsible water bottle is a great space-saving option. Nomaders Collapsible Water Bottle is exactly what it sounds like: A flexible, food-grade silicone bottle that rolls up and packs down small when not in use. Once unfurled and filled, its leakproof, shatterproof, and holds up to 22 ounces of liquid. Its also dishwasher safe and handles both hot and cold drinks, in case you prefer to hydrate with, say, a steamy matcha(weirdo) while working out.
Even with a full gym at your disposal, all that equipment is useless if you dont know how to work out properly in the first place. Having a decent workout appor three can be key to helping you exercise like a pro. Yoga Studio is great for stretching the right way without hurting yourself, while Aaptiv offers expert guidance through a wide range of niche cardio routines built around stair-climbing, rowing, indoor cycling, marathon training, and more. For beginners looking for on-the-go motivation, C25K is a free, tried-and-true system designed to take you from couch potato status to 5K runner in just eight weeks.
If nothing less than a full gym setup will suffice, Zeamois an affordable subscription-based app that offers travelers unlimited access to more than 25,000 gyms around the country.

Newsom dismisses health/fitness tests for 6M plus students in favor of non-binary PC – The Turlock Journal

There are almost 6.2 million public school students in California.
No one has an adequate count on how many of those students are non-binary, meaning they do not identify as either female or male. They may view themselves as part male and part female. And in some cases, they see themselves as female one day and male the next. Its a safe guess that the number of non-binary students in California could barely populate a city the size of Turlock.
It is worries about the psyches of primarily non-binary students that has prompted Gov. Gavin Newsom to include in the proposed state budget for the fiscal year starting July 1 to suspend physical fitness testing for three years that the state requires in the 5th, 7th, and 9th grades. The suspension is designed to give experts time to devise standards that would assure non-binary students will not be body shamed or bullied as the result of taking the tests.
This is a bizarre decision on many levels.
First, the test as currently designed was done so to give youth a report card on not just their fitness and health. It includes determining an individual students body mass index (BMI) ranging from very lean to needs improvement unhealthy.
The idea is not just to determine where students were on a scale or health and fitness but to nudge students into improving just like grades do in an academic classroom.
Is the test really hurting students? No one knows because that determination was not made.
It makes no sense to walk away even temporarily from a test that may have a positive impact on millions of youth because it might undermine the self-esteem of 85,000 or so students.
It would have made more sense to simply allow students opt to not take the test for whatever reason they saw fit without revealing if they are non-binary or simply dont want to do it.
Then there is the issue is how you tailor test components such as determining BMI if the very definition of a non-binary individual is one who has a fluid gender identity or none at all? You can make weight, height, body fat, and other charts measuring physical components that go together to give you a picture of a persons health and fitness levels based on the general physical physiology parameters of a male versus female but how do you do that when non-binary doesnt as much eschew such boundaries as it rejects them?
There could literally be dozens upon dozens of composites needed to be created for testing parameters for various precise definitions of a non-binary student as opposed to simple male and female.
And while the schools should work to avoid body shaming and such, how can you do that when by the very fluid definition of being non-binary you may not know what the student literally identifies as from day to day? That also means testing as a 5th grader they may view their gender or lack of gender one way, define it differently as a 7th grader, and then see the concept of their gender in an entirely new light in the 9th grade. By definition you would not be comparing one persons progress as much as starting over each time with someone different.
Since we are getting into the thick weeds of victimology with a simple physical fitness test, lets talk about body shaming for a second by going down memory lane.
In my case, its seventh grade. It is also puberty time.
I was 5-foot-11 and 260 pounds. My mom might have called me husky, jerks both young and old called me fat, and I knew I was overweight.
I had plenty of classmates that werent. They almost all werent jerks. Among them was Lello Carnesecca. Every seventh grade class has a Lello Carnesecca. Blessed with his genes, a desire to play sports and early onset of puberty Lello as a seventh grader had an honest-to-goodness six pack, was athletic and shaved. He also was smart.
Lello could do laps around the playground in PE with ease. As for me it was short spurts of jogging and then walking. He could do push-ups like a Marine recruit near the end of basic training. Pull-ups were a snap for him. I still cant do a legitimate pull-up to this day.
Why isnt Newsom worried about the impacts that puberty might have on the potential for body shaming by those who identify as male or female who havent reached puberty as opposed to those that have?
I was not body shamed by any classmates after taking the test of the day the Presidents Fitness Test even though I was fat, a major klutz, and performed hideously on the test. There also happened to be another kid close to my size that wasnt a klutz and tested in the middle better than a lot of average or slender kids that for whatever reason they didnt make an effort or were fooling their selves that they were fit and healthy didnt score high.
My negative experiences with being bullied because of my weight had nothing to do with the test and very rarely from kids my own age. Instead it was adults, such as spectators during my one and only season as a Little League player, that re-affirmed their status as adults for ridiculing me for what I obvious already knew since there were plenty of mirrors at home.
It is tough to get comfortable with your own body for many and not just those who feel they are in the wrong skin when it comes to gender.
In many ways Im still not.
And while Im not like everyone I see purely through my eyes and not a rundown on their vitals, endurance, dexterity and strength, I am pleased with where my health and fitness are headed.
The anxiety for me as a middle schooler had nothing to do with what anyone would say or what grade I would get but the fact I was pretty sure it was going to confirm to me what I already knew. I needed to do something to get better at the fitness thing since worrying about your health isnt exactly on the radar screen of a typical 7th grader.
In looking back, that test rated me not on a scale that reflected who I was which was a borderline severely overweight 12 year-old but with a norm for my age and height was part of the pieces to a puzzle I needed to put together in my head.
That puzzle, when I finished it by the end of the school year, made it possible for me to start my 8th grade year weighting 70 pounds less.
What Newsom is doing without realizing it is taking away a tool that may actually have similar positive impacts on young Californians on the advice obviously of advisors that is rooted in politically correct assumptions that tip the scales against the overwhelming majority of students who are binary.
Besides if a person can actually grasp that they are not binary as a 7th grader and run with it they certainly have the moxie and intelligence to put a physical fitness test in perspective.

Focus on Fitness: Motivate the Ones You Love – Burlington Hawk Eye

Exercise....to many people it is a way of life. To others, it is a like a four-letter word! Which way do you look at it? If exercise is a part of your daily routine, you probably have loved ones or friends that you truly care about that really need to be a little more active. With February being National Heart month plus the month of LOVE, read ahead to see how you can encourage those people close to your heart to take better care of their bodies.
So, how can you do this? About every magazine that you pick up, there is an article on weight loss or some type of exercise. There are TV channels specifically geared to fitness and exercise. You are able to YouTube all sorts of routines that you can exercise to on your phone or computer. Gyms and workout facilities are constantly offering incentives to join. Its hard if you are a regular exerciser to figure out why in the world a person doesnt want to improve their health.
I have been in this business long enough and have heard all of the excuses. What are or have been the barriers in the past that have hindered exercising? If it is lack of time, help organize and plan a routine for your loved one. Meet up on your way home from work at a gym. Wake up a little earlier in the morning to take a walk together. Give up a favorite activity to make time for some physical activity. You must demonstrate sincere care and support.
Has there been some lack of motivation? Be there for them and encourage, encourage, encourage. Be careful not to nag or constantly harp on them. Suggest activities that they enjoy, are fun, and excite them. Being too enthusiastic and overaggressive can backfire. Be a role model and insure that you will be with them every step of the way. If joining a gym or fitness facility, make sure it is convenient and has user friendly equipment that will keep you both coming. Reinforce the idea that persistence will produce results, although gradual at times, but they will come.
Don't let your loved ones compare themselves to others. Focus on their personal accomplishments. Set realistic goals that are achievable. Make sure you acknowledge their gains and triumphs! Reward them with healthy gifts not a calorie-filled dessert. Looking good for vacation or special family events such as reunions or weddings are great incentives.
Share what has worked for you and educate about the benefits of exercise if you need to. You may be close to a young person with a diagnosis of a heart problem, Type 2 diabetes, or asthma or are overweight. They might be unaware of the benefits of exercising. Take them to a professional to help relay the message of the benefits of physical activity. Tell them you want them to enjoy a more active, fulfilled life which can be attained if they start working out.
During this month set aside for love especially, dont hold back in trying to motivate a loved one or friend to add some physical activity into their life. By encouraging them to make their lives more active, you are hopefully adding years for a longer, healthier life together.
Julie Kirk is a fitness instructor at Great River Health Fitness. Her column appears in Living Well the second Tuesday of each month.

Texomans encouraged to take flight with Weightless bungee fitness – KFDX – Texomashomepage.com

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) A fun and innovative workout class in town is proving to be perfect for folks who arent always motivated to go to the gym.
I started it because I am a cancer survivor and I was having a lot of pain in my joints, Weightless owner Tiffany Humpert Brillhart said.
For Brillhart, finding a painless yet impactful workout became a top priority.
I went through lots of treatment and it caused a lot of bone pain and joint pain and it was very hard for me to do my coaching, Brillhart said. I looked into all of the low to no-impact options and bungee fitness seemed to be it.
Brillhart then introduced the unique class to Wichita Falls, and her students, like Dana Croucher, could not be more thrilled.
I have always hated, sorry thats an ugly word going to the gym, Brillhart said. [Ive] always struggled with my weight and then I saw weightless on Facebook and decide hey maybe I should try that.
Weightless offers a low impact, high-intensity classes such as bungee fitness, ariel fitness as well as trampoline fitness and its not as gymtimidating as going to a regular gym.
Its just fun because were flying and were jumping and learning things every class she teaches us something new, Croucher said.
Brillhart and Croucher encourage Texomans to take flight with Weightless.
As an extra incentive to join, Weightless currently has a special rate just in time for Valentines Day, two classes for $25.
Click here for more information and schedule.
Classes are taking place at the Defining Moments Dance Studio on Kell Boulevard, but a new studio is expected to open in downtown Wichita Falls in March.

Get Rec Fit offering community fitness in Swansea – Fall River Herald News

SWANSEA Getting healthy in Swansea has become a whole lot easier with a new fitness program. And its offerings may rival those in some local studios.
Recreation Commission clerk Christeen Cestodio created the Get Rec Fit program from the ground up to give those aged 18 to 60 a new affordable exercise venue.
The classes have been amazing, Cestodio said. The instructors have been amazing.
Cestodio said the program, offered in a wide open space at the Community Center, 260 Ocean Grove Ave., will create healthier people and get people out there into the community.
The winter schedule that runs until March 28 offers classes every day except Tuesday.
Classes range from zumba to yoga and boot camp to line dancing.
It kind of started before I came, but it was very limited classes, Cestodio said. This is my first season running it.
Instructors include Christine Antunes, Karen Torres, Shaun Gadbois, Allison Sprague, Carol Ann Souza, Stephanie Miller, Jessica Williams and Diane Sinclair.
Cestodio said she wanted to add offerings for adults because there was a gap in that area, with activities mainly offered to children and senior citizens.
She contacted local fitness instructors and crafted the program that offers 18 classes each week, with some in the mornings and others in the late afternoon and evening for adults who work during the day.
I got lucky, Cestodio said.
Keeping the classes affordable was important to Cestodio, and the commission.
The drop-in price is $5. Get Rec Fit class passes are available at five for $25, 10 for $40, 20 for $60 and 30 for $80. Classes are open to residents of Swansea and other local communities.
Cestodio said she is still expanding the program and would like to offer yoga at the Town Beach this summer.
Other programs for adults include crochet and mens basketball. The Recreation Commission also offers a youth summer program.

Fitness instructor, 80, inspiring the young | News, Sports, Jobs – Fairmont Sentinel

Christa Walters gracefully lowered herself until she was parallel with the Peosta Community Centre floor and her back was as flat as a board.
The women around Walters, willing participants in the recent workout session, groaned in pain. But they knew the more they complained, the longer they would have to hold the position.
For the past nine years, Walters has been instructing a Get Fit workout class Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the community center. And although she recently celebrated her 80th birthday, she has no plans to slow down or retire from her weekly exercise routine.
(Class participants) said, Christa if you quit, we are coming to your house,' Walters said. I dont feel my age. I dont feel 80. Its just a number.
Walters said she always has loved working out.
Growing up in Mannheim, Germany, she practiced ballet regularly. But after she married Ronald, who served in the U.S. Army, she moved to Guttenberg, Iowa, and discarded her old pointe shoes in favor of running shoes. She also set up a workout area in the basement of their home.
When she moved to Dubuque 12 years ago, she began taking classes at the Peosta Community Centre. She later was approached by her instructor, who asked her to begin teaching classes at the facility.
She said, Christa you are the only one I can think of that can do that,' Walters said. I always exercised. It was nothing new to me, but telling people what to do was.
When it came to learning about different workout routines and stretches, Walters used the same method she used in the past to learn English. Specifically, she watched TV and read.
Walters class has 12 to 14 regular members who attend every week. But sometimes the class overflows with walk-ins and she has to move over to the gym, she said.
Alaine Jamison, 66, of Bernard, said she has been attending Walters class for more than two years. She said Walters dedication inspires her.
The majority of regular members in Walters class are more than 60 years old, but it is not just a class for seniors. Its open to everyone.

Houston couples who sweat together, stay together – Houston Chronicle

On Sundays, Houston residents and sweethearts Caroline Bentley and Andrew Ginty sit down and pencil in their workouts.
We both have pretty different schedules, Bentley said. We like to plan out when were busy, when we have time to work out together.
They decide which days theyll schedule their workouts as a duo, and which days theyll divide and conquer.
Its not in the cards to do them all at the same time, Ginty said. But we want to make sure that we do some together.
Marking the calendar helps hold them accountable for their fitness routines. But thats not the only benefit the couple sees.
LOVE STORY:Ole Miss sweethearts from Houston make it official in San Miguel
If you want to be healthy, you have to commit time to it, Ginty said. If you have your partner there with you, youre spending quality time together. Its like a bonus hour we get to spend together.
Bentley and Ginty represent a large number of couples who find that sweating together helps them stay together. Their relationships benefit from time together, spent pursuing a common goal and their health improves as well. Partners become accountability partners, cheering on progress and pushing each other to stick to their fitness routines.
Everybody has stress in their lives, whatever their situation, said Bruce Blome, a Heights resident who works out with his partner of 12 years, Karen Carter.
Exercise is a great way to reduce stress and let your mind relax, he continued. It creates for us a nice relaxed environment at home. And we probably communicate better.
Carter agrees. Youre less likely to take your stress out on each other, she said.
LOVE STORY:He's dying of cancer. She survived it. They had their wedding at Houston Methodist.
The benefits differ from couple to couple. For Ginty and Bentley, who have been dating for four years, their regular trips to the Orangetheory Fitness studio in West University Place has given them a common hobby.
I was exhausted after my first workout, but I really liked it, said Bentley. Before long, she convinced Ginty to give it a shot. He joined after his first trial class.
Now, the couple goes to the gym several times a week. Bentley has lost 15 pounds, and Ginty has lost 5 and is working to increase his strength. Already, he feels faster and stronger when he runs.
When they are both free on Saturdays, they go to Orangetheory together. But even when they cant go together, they still share their routines.
We have conversations about it, even when we cant go at the same time, Bentley said. It benefits us as individuals. And its something we can do together.
Sugar Land residents Kari and Larry McMichael also work out as a team at Orangetheory. They met at a friends birthday party four years ago and have been married for two years.
Kari has been diagnosed with four different autoimmune disorders, which affect her health and muscle tissues overall. Last year, she began a keto diet due to her diagnosis, and it helped improve her health. Then she decided to try Orangetheory.
I was a little intimidated at first, she said. But the workouts go by fast, and you get a lot accomplished. You start to see the results. Your muscles are more defined. Your clothes fit better.
Kari has lost 30 pounds and convinced her parents to join as well.
For Larry, fitness has been a top priority for a while: Three years ago, he weighed 300 pounds. I ate bad, drank and smoked a pack a day, he said.
After eliminating sodas and fast food, he lost 40 pounds. Then, he began jogging. Eventually, he lost 100 pounds. When Larry quit smoking, he regained about 30 pounds. But Orangetheory helped him lose 20 of those pounds again.
Now I have confidence going into the gym, he said. He likes the real-time feedback from the gyms heart monitors and the calm, encouraging vibe he gets from the coaches.
Mostly, he said he benefits from the support of his wife. My wife is committed to being healthy, and she helps me a lot, he said.
They often head to the gym at 5 a.m. to start their day with a workout. We talk to and from, on the drive, Kari said.
Being at the same gym also gives them something to discuss. They compare their workouts, chat about trainers. That connection keeps us going, Kari said.
Were accountability partners, Larry added. We talk about what we can do better. Its cool to share that part of our life together.
Heights residents Blome and Carter go to Orangetheory together three to five times a week.
The way Orangetheory is designed, even if youre not on the same fitness level, you can still go together and encourage each other, he said.
For example, one partner could run on a treadmill, while the other goes at a slower pace, Blome explained. There are modifications for each exercise.
Blome and Carter carpool to work. Sometimes, when they are heading home, one of them considers tapping out of their fitness plans.
One of us convinces the other, and afterwards, were glad that we did, Blome said.
We never regret going, Carter added.
They also focus on nutrition together, planning their meals and shopping at the grocery store.
Carter is convinced that being healthier together makes for a better partnership. She suggests other couples spend time looking for an exercise option that suits them.
Find something you like to do, she said. Because if you dont like it, you wont do it. And its even better, if you can do it together.

The Best Diet And Fitness Tips Kate Middleton Swears By – Women’s Health

Kate Middleton has been living in the public eye for more than a decade and the whole time she's just been so...consistent. Her hair always looks amazing, her style is on point, and, of course, she looks super fit. While Kate doesn't talk a lot about what she does in the food and exercise department, several insiders have shared that she works hard to be healthy. Here are the Duchess of Cambridge's top health tips, so you can steal them for yourself.

1Try to cook regularly.
Kate makes most of the meals for Prince William and the kids herself, British chef Carolyn Robb, who worked at Kensington Palace for more than two decades, told Racked. "Kate does quite a lot of the cooking," she said.
2Go for a smoothie first thing.
For breakfast, Kate likes to make a smoothie with spirulina, kale, matcha, spinach, romaine, cilantro and blueberries, according to the Daily Mail.
3Have healthy competition.
