But this one definitely takes the cake. Cosmo US posted an article with the following headline on their website.
The basic heft of the article was about a woman namedSimone Harbinson and her struggle with a rare form of cancer, viewed through the prism of weight loss and dieting for some reason. Featuring weird passages like this one:

Creator of The Body Coach, Joe has amassed an impressive 1.7 million Instagram followers including Ellie Goulding, John Terry and Joey Essex.
Since graduating with a degree in sports science, the fitness fanatic has launched a successful diet and fitness philosophy.
But what is his one top tip for fat loss? Meal preparation.
My top tip for fat loss success is prep like a boss. All that means is that youre going to sit down, plan your meals for the week, go food shopping, get all those ingredients, go home and start to prep your meals, Joe told Business Insider.
If youre really busy that might mean doing it on a Sunday for three to four hours, but you are going to set yourself up for the whole week.

Joe also champions high intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts as he believes no one has time to spend hours at the gym.
I get my clients training for less time but at higher intensity with HIIT cardio workouts, the trainer told the Daily Star Online.
HIIT is awesome for burning body fat because you not only burn calories during the session you also burn calories for hours after.
My clients aim to do four to five HIIT sessions per week lasting no longer than 25 minutes. This makes it perfect for busy people.

Some supplements containing the ingredient are promising weight loss and a healthier metabolism but the experts at Consumer Reports have concerns, because higher concentrations of green tea extract can be really dangerous because it can potentially cause serious liver damage. Plus the herb itself has been found to alter the effectiveness of a long list of drugs including certain antidepressants and certain anti-clotting medications. It can also elevate your heart rate and blood pressure. And researchers suggest that up to 10 percent of people who suffer acute liver failure from green tea extract may die as a result.
Consumer Reports put Green Tea Extract Powder on its list of 15 supplement ingredients to avoid. The manufacturers who make these supplements are not required to prove to federal regulators that their products are effective or even safe before theyre sold, so you really dont know what youre buying.
And studies have also found that even in high doses green tea probably wont help you lose weight. Its true that green tea can raise your metabolic rate, so you burn more calories, but thats probably just due to its caffeine and catechins - the antioxidants found in green tea. Consumer Reports says most people can reap the health benefits of green tea with a couple of cups a day.
Consumer Reports has long advocated for measures that would improve supplement safety and give the FDA greater authority to remove potentially harmful dietary supplements from the marketplace. For now, check out its list of 15 supplement ingredients to avoid which includes green tea extract powder, kava, caffeine powder and red yeast rice.

She said: Losing the weight has changed my life in so many more ways than I could have ever imagined.
Before I hated going out with my friends because I felt so self-conscious and awful in everything I wore.
I lived in leggings and baggy tops to hide the fact I had put on weight.
I was also really unfit and got out of breath really easily whenever I walked more than half a mile.
I suffer from IBS and since losing the weight and eating a much healthier balanced diet, I hardly ever get symptoms now.

In the world of Instagram, there are many people who are famous for a multitude of reasons.
From the travel bloggers to the fashion bloggers, Instagram famous models and body positive warriors there is one sub-set who garners more of a cult fan base than the others.
These are the weight loss success stories.
People, usually women, who have lost large amounts of weight and regularly post before and after or progress photos gather thousands of followers who follow them for inspiration and motivation.
One of these women, Haley Smith, has lost an incredible 7.8st in a year and a half and she boasts an impressive 92.8k Instagram following.

1. Make small changes to your diet
Now, when I go on vacations, I don't have to sit things out because I feel too uncomfortable.
Haley said in the beginning she only made small changes to her diet.
Two of my biggest problems with food were eating late in the day and eating out all the time. So those were the first habits I focused on breaking. I decided that I would only eat out twice a week and stop eating after 8 p.m.something I still stick to today!
Now, I try to stick to balancing my food groups, eating out as little as I can, and just making conscious, healthy choices about what I eat.
A typical day for me starts with a protein shake for breakfast, grilled chicken with kale for lunch, and something similar for dinner, like a pork chop with broccoli.
However, Haley added that its all about balance and that shes practically addicted to chips.
2. Get moving
Haley said her exercise journey began by joining the Couch to 5k app so she could start to get into running.
After a while, she decided to join the gym and now trains around six days a week.
While this may not be for everyone, make sure you incorporate at least three half-hour sessions of exercise into each week.
3. Dont give up
Haley said her Instagram followers have been a big part of her motivation.
Im currently finishing up a project I call my "Year of Runs" where I ran one 5K every monthI even decided to cap it off by hosting my own virtual 5K with them!
There were so many times I wanted to call the challenge off, but I knew letting them down would cause me to let myself down.
My followers are so supportive and encouraging, and that community really helps keep my healthy lifestyle at the front of my mind every day.

4. Reap the benefits
Haley said her confidence levels have skyrocketed since she lost weight.
Now, when I go on vacations, I don't have to sit things out because I feel too uncomfortable or literally can't do something. I feel so much more in-control of my life.
5. Take it slow
Haley said her top tip would be to start small and take it slow.
Hard and fast diets or workout routines are too difficult to stick to for any extended period of time.
Because this is a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix, you have to be able to make those small, habit-breaking changes little by little.
Take it one day at a time.

"Mathew never saw me when I was at my biggest but I have shown him all of the photos, he is constantly saying how proud he is of me."
In 2014, Laura began suffering with stomach pains and doctors told her that she needed to have her gall bladder removed. But, in order to have the operation, Laura needed to lose three stone.
She added: "That really gave me the kick I needed and so in January 2015 I joined Slimming World and began exercising at home using workout DVDs.
"A few months later I had lost just over five stone and was finally able to have the operation to remove my gall stones. "I stopped eating rubbish and have stuck to my diet plan ever since, I have now lost eight stone." Laura reached her goal weight of 10 stone in the summer of 2016 which finally gave her the confidence to socialise again.
Laura said: "Some of my friends suggested that I should join a dating site, I had previously been on Plenty of Fish and so decided to update my profile.
"I had just turned 30 and realised I didn't have anything to lose, I didn't want to be alone forever.
"From the moment I met Matthew I knew he was just perfect and nearly a year later we are still together.
"At the moment we are living separately but we are always talking about and planning our future together.
"Before losing the weight I was always the biggest amongst my friends, I wanted to look nice and fit into the clothes they were wearing but I never could.
"But now that I'm a size 8-10 I can finally shop in the places they shop in and I can even borrow their clothes, it feels amazing."

At first I thought they were doing it to save money (proud mama), but soon realized the portions are so big these days it was more than enough. We can learn a lot from our kids! Try it on your husband or boyfriend too when you go out to dinner. They may think youre trying to give them a message that they need to eat less (like mine), however when you are splitting at a restaurant, you usually end up trying something new which is always a good thing. Think outside the box.
