Horse Teeth Floating (Dentistry) – Video

Horse Teeth Floating (Dentistry)
Horse #39;s teeth continuously grow throughout their lives. Because of this and the fact that they are fed other foods than their in the wild diet, grass, their teeth will not grind properly. Since their teeth do not grind properly we must do it for them, otherwise their teeth can cause them pain if left untreated. This is my horse during her first teeth floating. The front top and bottom of her premolars had grown in such a way that they essentially could lock and prohibit proper eating function. She is five and most vets don #39;t recommend floating till this time, after which all teeth are her adult teeth. It just happened that hers grew this way. All negative comments will be deleted.
