Why I Boycotted Burger King
I hate to admit this, but I like Burger Kings French toast stick. But a healthy diet is not why I have boycotted Burger King for what has now been 20 years. I rolled in to the drive through at 9:55 AM. There were a few cars ahead of me, but I was patient. When I was told I could not have French toast sticks because breakfast was over, I asked when breakfast ended. The reply was 10:00 AM. Looking at my clock I asked them what time it was, they said 10:01. I did not want anything else, I wanted French Toast Sticks, but they were not willing to sell them to me even though I was in line to order them before the cutoff time. What really sucked was that I still had to wait for the other cars to get their orders before I could leave, but I did, without ordering, and I have never been back. I know that this was one minimum wage employee working for just one franchise, but the result is that I have not been to any Burger King restaurant in over 20 years. Don #39;t be so black and white with your rules. You never know what it #39;s going to cost you. I want to help improve customer service in America. The reason is two fold, one, I am sick of receiving poor customer service.
