Derry fitness worries for replay

Derry City have fitness doubts over Barry Molloy and Rory Patterson for Wednesday's FAI Cup semi-final replay against Shelbourne (20:00 BST).

Molloy was struggling with a thigh injury in the closing stages of Sunday's 1-1 draw at the Brandywell and could miss the Tolka Park rematch.

Patterson played his first game in some time as he lasted for an hour on Sunday but may not start in Dublin.

Stephen McLaughlin is another doubt but has a better chance of being involved.

If Molloy is ruled out, Ruaidhri Higgins may be drafted into central midfield while another option is to switch Patrick McEleney from the flank.

Barry McNamee represents a further option for Devine who was pleased with his team's second-half display at the weekend after the slow start which saw them conceding a fourth-minute goal.

"I felt we totally dominated the second half," Devine told BBC Radio Foyle.

"Our approach play in the second half was very good. We passed the ball very well and asked questions of their back-four. That's what we want again come Wednesday night."

Derry have already beaten Shels at Tolka Park this season and Devine says the prospect of the march "doesn't frighten me at all".

"We respect going away from home against good opposition and it's going to be a very difficult game.
