Meet our Fitness World Clubs (comedic) team member Kim Deskin. We know you will like her just as much as we do smile emoticon

"Hi! My name is Kim Deskin and I am the "Front Desk Anchor" at Prairie Trail. You will see me on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays handing out towels and directions. But I am not just an employee...I am also a club member and I take classes thru the week. I made it a point to take almost every class so I can help new members understand the many class ...choices we offer. I love to start off my week with Maria's Cardio Fusion class then Tuesday's and Thursday's I get my swim on with Aquafit (shout to Lisa and Crazy Kate!). Turbo Kick and Step Up are a few of my other faves. I have not taken Group Ride yet. I don't have the right shoes for it. Ask me why that is so funny!

My husband, Larry, and I have lived in Johnston for over 30 years and our one daughter Jill is graduating in May from Bethel University in MN. She is no longer a tax deduction so I am interested in getting her off my payroll pretty soon. Larry has worked for Mercy One (helicopter air ambulance) for the past 28 years. In my regular job I work for Wells Fargo as a Recruiter. I like to say that my Front Desk position at the club is my fun job but being a Recruiter is pretty awesome too! We also have our dog, Teddy, but he isn't a tax deduction either. So I have one husband, one child and one dog. That ONE thing is working out well for me....except shoes. Stop by the front desk on a weekend and ask me why!
