CHICAGO, Aug. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Mundelein-based fitness equipment distributor, Direct Fitness Solutions(DFS) is excited to announce the arrival of FitFest 2012 this November to Chicago's Swissotel. FitFest will feature the industry's latest fitness equipment, drawing attendance from throughout the Midwest. Numerous manufacturers, including Precor, Schwinn, Keiser, Stairmaster, Fitness on Request, FreeMotion, Interactive Fitness and Tag will be in attendance showcasing their equipment.

A convenient replacement for Club Industry, FitFest 2012 will boast an Oktoberfest theme on a smaller scale, allowing attendees the opportunity to get a close look at all product lines. "We knew we couldn't replicate Club Industry," says Tim Green, DFS co-owner. "Our aim was to create a small, but accommodating show that appealed to fitness professional throughout the region. We're confident we'll be able to accomplish that."

The three day show will also offer several CEC/CEU workshops from ViPR and WERQ, ideal for Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors with an interest in fulfilling professional education requirements.

Show dates and times are as follows: Thursday, Nov. 1: 11am - 5pm Friday, Nov. 2: 11am - 5pm Saturday, Nov. 3: 9am - noon
