Tom Kerridge weight loss: TV chef lifts lid on secrets to success in new book – Daily Star

Tom Kerridge has shed 12 stone in recent years.

And ever since the TV chef underwent an extreme body transformation, fans have been begging to know his weight loss secrets.

To answer his followers questions, the celebrity cook has released a number of educational books.

One of these works is called Lose Weight & Get Fit: 100 High-Flavour Recipes for Dieting and Fitness and its out in the UK next week.

So what slimming secrets does Tom divulge in its pages?

According to the book description, the key to long lasting success is to make changes to your food and fitness habits.

The Michelin-starred chef explains: For me, losing weight was less about reaching a target weight and more about getting fitter and healthier.

I reckon that setting fitness goals alongside weight-loss goals is a win-win formula for lasting success and here are the recipes to help you.

On Instagram, Tom gave fans a sneak peek of some of the recipes that are included in the book.

And youll be pleased to know that plenty of family favourites are in there.

Steak tacos, stew and stuffed mushrooms are among the tasty dishes that have been given a healthy makeover.

Meanwhile, the chocolate chia puddings and wild berry crumble recipes are bound to be popular with dessert fans.

Unlike other food regimes out there, Toms isnt restrictive.

The TV chef, who once weighed 30st, describes his eating habits as the dopamine diet.

Dopamine is a happy hormone, which transits signals between nerve cells in the brain losing on reward and pleasure.

Eating food causes dopamine to surge in our body, especially after eating sugary, fatty foods.

But Tom revealed you can achieve the same effects by eating healthy and protein-rich meals.
