Your breakfast should include a healthy mix of complex carbohydrates and lean proteins. You can eat omelette of one egg or oats. You can also have a teaspoon of fish oil for the breakfast as it is rich in omega-3-fatty acids.

To boost your metabolism, you will have to increase the intensity of your workout. Start by exercising at your normal speed for five minutes and then ramp it up for about 30 seconds, then return to your normal speed.
