Xavier Wood reveals whether he will continue streaming following WWEs third-party… – The Sportsrush

Xavier Wood reveals whether he will continue streaming following WWEs recent edict imposing a third-party ban on its wrestlers and performers.

The WWE are currently in hot waters over their decision to ban their wrestlers from engaging in third-party platforms. Several WWE performers can be on found on platforms such as Cameo, Twitch, YouTube and more and have not taken kindly to the company dictating what they can and what they cant do.

Xavier Woods is the most notable one of them all. He monetized his gaming stream on YouTube and Twitch long before anyone else in the company thought of doing the same. He has 2.2 million subscribers on his UpUpDownDown YouTube Channel. However, the new edict has left fans worried for the future of his channels.

I dont have any answers, Woods said addressing the situation with the WWE on anewLEGACYinc Twitchstream. I have no answers, I have no idea what is going on. I think Im fine, I think most people are fine, but well find out. I dont know, Im not the person to ask.

I wish I knew more, but I dont, unfortunately. Were gonna stream as much as we can, for as long as we can. Im just trying to build an audience so that when I get my G4 gig, we have a built-in crew. Keep my game name alive.

WWE Stars such as Paige, Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks have begun using their real names on third-party platforms. This has led to many wondering if reverting to their real name can help stars bypass the order. However, there is very little clarity and a lot of furore on the situation at the moment.

Considering the classification of WWE Wrestlers as Independent Contractors many including former Democratic Presidential candidate Andrew Yang have questioned the WWE over how much control it has exhibited over workers who arent legally their employees.

Masterchef’s Gregg Wallace says he lost weight to be ‘attractive’ for young wife – Mirror Online

Masterchef host Gregg Wallace says losing his love handles is keeping the romance alive with his younger wife.

Gregg, 55, who used to weigh 16 stone, says he was motivated after falling in love with a younger woman, then wanting to be physically attractive for her.

He met Anna, 33, in 2013, and went on to shed four stone through exercise and healthier eating because he did not want to be the older and fatter partner.

Gregg said: Ive got more energy and stamina and Im stronger and leaner than I was at 25.

"If someone cant get a jar open, I want to do it.

A big wake-up call for Gregg was being told he had dangerously high cholesterol, which is when he signed up with a personal trainer.

His goal, he said, was to look more like a Love Island star because he hated seeing how tubby he looked on screen.

Ditching the conveyor belt of takeaways and fry-ups really helped the weight drop off, and now he loves buying clothes that I like, not clothes that will cover me over.

Catching the fitness bug also led Gregg to launch a website, showme.fit, to help others achieve their fitness goals.

It includes his own tips, exercise routines from his personal trainer, wife Annas healthy recipes and advice from a nutritionist and psychologist.

But Gregg reckons the key to getting fit is to be patient.

He said: When we slip up we tend to chuck it all in, but thats not the way. Youre going to slip up. Youre going to go to the pub, drink too much and get a kebab on the way home.

What I have learned is being good most of the time is good enough.

You dont have to go crazy. You dont have to be hungry. There is no way Im going through the week without a pint of beer. But Im careful most of the time and here I am, as fit as a butchers dog.

Gregg refused to go down the 5:2 fasting plan route, finding the idea uncomfortable.

He said: Why do people put themselves through that? It might make you lose weight short-term but its not sustainable.

You need to gradually move yourself to a better place. In the end your body craves the good things. If you put a fry-up in front of me now, I wouldnt want it.

Gregg recommends starting by making simple changes.

So the roast potatoes go from a pile to two and a boiled one, the rib eye steak becomes fillet, fish in batter becomes grilled fish, a chocolate bar becomes an apple Have a gammon steak and a poached egg, it will fill you up longer than a bacon sandwich.

He says tinned and frozen food can even be the healthy choice.

I dont know one single chef who doesnt use frozen peas once in a while, he said.

Gregg exercises for an hour at the gym, five days a week, and kept up his regime at home in lockdown.

He has also been enjoying walks near his home in Kent and cooking healthy lunches for Anna, his daughter Libby, 23, one-year-old son Sid and Annas parents.

But the crisis has made Gregg reevaluate life.

He said: Im a workaholic. I want to slow down a touch. I loved being at home. It made me appreciate what Ive got.

PCOS Affects as Many as 5 Million Women – Here’s How to Know If You’re One of Them – MSN Money

Getty / Tom Werner PCOS Affects as Many as 5 Million Women - Here's How to Know If You're One of Them

PCOS - polycystic ovarian (or ovary) syndrome - is a chronic condition that affects the lives and health of millions of people globally. At least six to 12 percent of people (as many as five million) with female sex organs of childbearing age suffer from PCOS, according to the CDC. As Stephanie Long, MD, told us, if you have PCOS, your ovaries and uterus "don't get the signals in the right way" from your brain, leading to a slew of damaging health effects that impact a patient's everyday life.

We spoke with Alyssa Dweck, MD, a New York gynecologist, about the rise in diagnosis of PCOS. She told POPSUGAR, "I am seeing so many patients with PCOS now," and confirmed that it's on the rise. "I'm not sure whether there's more of it, or if we're realizing we need to recognize it, or if people are more aware of their [symptoms] and bringing that to their doctors."

Either way, it's important to get the information out there so more women get in touch with their bodies, spot symptoms, and treat the issue as soon as possible, as untreated PCOS can lead to deadly disease and infertility.

PCOS is a hormonal disorder that affects six to 12 percent of people with female sex organs. People with PCOS produce more androgen (male hormones) than others who are assigned female at birth, which causes enlarged ovaries with multiple small cysts due to the follicles not maturing into eggs. This creates a lack of ovulation.

There is a spectrum of symptoms, and each person is impacted differently. However, a handful are "telltale signs," as Dr. Dweck said, and they are extremely typical of PCOS. Here's what doctors are looking for and what you should look for if you think you might be at risk.

Hair growth. "On the face, specifically," said Dr. Dweck, and "in male places like sideburns, chin, mustache . . . more than 'you have to pluck a couple.'" If you notice dark, thick hairs growing in those areas, it's an indicator of a hormonal imbalance that may be related to PCOS.

Acne. More than your typical breakout? This is "Not just your typical teenage acne - it's persistent, significant." Acne plus hair growth are "signs of excess male hormone or androgen levels, which is typical of PCOS," Dr. Dweck said.

Weight gain. Whether it's difficulty losing or maintaining weight, Dr. Dweck said many people with PCOS are at a higher weight. She did, however, mention that there are atypical cases referred to as "atypical PCOS." Margaret Nachtigall, MD, clinical associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU's Grossman School of Medicine, explained that about 25 percent of people with PCOS are "actually extremely thin."

Menstrual irregularity. This is one of the hallmarks of PCOS. "Your menstrual cycle is going havoc." You either have no period, many missed periods, or skip several months at a time. This is due to a lack of or infrequent ovulation, according to Dr. Dweck. Dr. Nachtigall defined an irregular period as one that is more frequent than every 21 days or less frequent than every 42 days.

Difficulty getting pregnant. If you've been struggling with fertility and have any of these other symptoms, it may indicate that you have PCOS. This is definitely a time to check with your healthcare provider.

Male pattern baldness. In addition to that oh-so-pleasant facial and body hair growth, you may also lose the hair you actually want on your scalp, like at your temples.

Intolerance to sugar. PCOS is often linked with insulin resistance and "borderline diabetes," according to Dr. Dweck.

Unfortunately, no two cases of PCOS are the same, although irregular periods are usually the biggest indicator. "One of the things about making the diagnosis of PCOS, because the diagnosis is varied, is that some people will have irregular periods and acne," Dr. Nachtigall explained. "Other people will have irregular periods and hair growth. Other people will have irregular periods and hair loss."

Add to the fact that not everyone with PCOS is at a higher weight, and it may be tough to pinpoint. Dr. Dweck pointed out that there are people who have atypical symptoms, so it's imperative you see a healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis.

Dr. Dweck told us that "there's no foolproof way," but the most accurate way of diagnosis is the most invasive. "A true diagnosis is done by ovarian biopsy," she said, but it's highly aggressive and not the preferred method of diagnosis.

In most cases, your doctor will do a pelvic ultrasound, looking for a typical sign known as "a string of pearls." These are "teeny cysts around the periphery of the ovary that look like a string of pearls," she explained. Additionally, your doctor may run hormone blood tests to see if you have elevated testosterone or DHEAS, as well as low estrogen. These can all be indicators of PCOS as well.

The priority in treatment focuses on "regulating the menstrual cycle and preventing pregnancy to regulate ovulation," she said. Here's the main plan of attack you'll encounter.

Combination birth control pills. The most common treatment for PCOS is a combination birth control pill with both estrogen and progesterone, which "increases a particular protein made by the liver called sex hormone binding globulin." Why is this important? "It binds free testosterone in the bloodstream," meaning all that extra testosterone that's unchecked will be regulated once again. "The testosterone level is lowered, so those signs of high testosterone like hair growth or hair loss on the top of the head or acne will diminish quickly."

Diet and exercise. When dealing with PCOS patients who are at a higher weight, Dr. Dweck told us that regulating diet is imperative. Since many people with PCOS are also insulin resistant, maintaining a low-sugar and low-carb diet is key. Exercise is also important, not only to lose weight, but also to regulate insulin levels. "Exercise, independent of weight loss, just regular exercise will improve insulin sensitivity," explained Eduardo Grunvald, MD, program director at UC San Diego's Weight Management Program, in a previous article.

Hormonal IUD. This form of treatment has "no impact on the testosterone levels at all" (and she noted that a rare group of women get acne from the hormonal IUD), but "it keeps the uterine lining very thin - that's protective against uterine cancer," and it's "excellent for birth control." This is important for someone who doesn't know when they're ovulating, so they would have no idea if they were or weren't pregnant. It also "lightens the period or eliminates it," without creating uterine buildup by "chemically cleansing." Keep in mind that the hormonal IUD only contains progesterone, no estrogen.

It's important to note that your doctor will create a treatment plan that is specific to your body, your symptoms, and your needs.

If left untreated, PCOS has a serious impact, and can lead to:

Diabetes.

Implications of being at a higher weight (and all the health problems that come with it, including heart disease and mortality).

Uterine cancer (thanks to "unopposed estrogen and build-up of the uterine lining").

Short answer: no. Dr. Dweck referred to PCOS as like "a chronic disease," but the glimmer of hope is that "it's very treatable." And it's true - we've heard from multiple doctors that it's one of the most correctable forms of infertility and that there are several avenues and combinations for treatment. Arm yourself with knowledge and pick your all-star healthcare team to set yourself up for success. You can learn more from Dr. Dweck in her book, The Complete A to Z For Your V, (which outlines PCOS) on Amazon.

This BRUTAL 4-week kettlebell workout will help you lose weight and build muscle at the same time – T3

Some wants to lose weight, others want to build muscle but it's not often you can do both at the same time. This 4-week kettlebell workout will do just that, but it won't be easy for sure. Summer might be gone already but it's never too late (or too early) to start working on your summer bod.

This 4-week kettlebell workout mainly uses one exercise: the kettlebell swing. The kettlebell swing is hands down the best kettlebell exercise and probably one of the best compound exercises out there, period. During the 4-week period, you will perform 10,000 kettlebell swings, peppered with a few strength exercises in between the swings.

Dan John came up with the original '10,000 swing kettlebell workout' concept in the early 2010s and published the results over at T-Nation. It was an empirical approach and the programme was validated through testing as opposed to scientific research.

According to Dan, everyone doing the programme "got leaner, dropping a waist size or two, in 20 workouts" and "increased grip strength and work capacity". He also mentioned that "abs were more visible [and] glute strength was tremendously better" too.

Sounds to good to be true? This workout does come with some caveats but in its essence, the '10,000 swing kettlebell workout' is based on hard work and perseverance. Ready to get leaner and stronger?

IMPORTANT: although this workout can be tailored so it is less demanding, it is still a pretty hardcore workout even when using lighter kettlebells. If you are new to exercising, struggle with obesity and/or have health issues, please consult a medical professional before you start exercising. To kick start weight loss, please check out this article on how to boost metabolism naturally.

Body Power 24kg Vinyl Coated Kettlebell | On sale for 64.99 | Was 83.99 | You save 19 at Fitness SuperstoreDan recommends a 24-kilo kettlebell for men to perform the 10,000 swings kettlebell workout and this vinyl-coated kettlebell from Body Power will do the job just fine without breaking the bank. This 'bell has a nice wide handle, ideal for swings and the coating will ensure that neither the kettlebell nor the floor will get damaged during workouts.View Deal

This kettlebell workout is based on simplicity. No need to buy all the best home gym equipment, all you really need is a heavy enough kettlebell and potentially the best pull up bar or best multi-gym for pull ups and the best dumbbells or best barbell for the overhead press, that's it.

You will be doing 500 kettlebell swings per workout with some additional strength exercises in between. Dan recommends men using a 24kg (53 lbs) kettlebell and women using a 16kg (35 lbs) kettlebell. This can be changed to accommodate your strength level.

Each workout consists of five clusters of four sets of kettlebell swings. In each cluster, you will be performing 100 kettlebell swings in the following pattern:

In between the sets, you will be doing low volume strength exercises, one of the following: overhead press, dip, goblet squat or chin up. As Dan explains, you should "use a 1-2-3 rep scheme for most movements" and more specifically, "for the 1-2-3 lifts, use your five rep max weight" whereas "for the dip, use a 2-3-5 rep scheme". You would want to do one of the four strength exercises on each day.

'Five rep max weight' is the weight you can do five repetitions with. There are numerous 'one rep max calculators' online such as this one that can help you determine your five rep max weigh based on the weights/reps you use most usually.

Work out for two days, rest for a day, then two days of work then a day rest, and so on, until the end of the four weeks. As for rest, Dan recommends having a 30-60-second break after each round of 10, 15 and 25. After the set of 50, give yourself at least a 3-minute break and do a little stretching to ease up the muscles in between clusters.

Dan revisited the idea of the '10,000 swing kettlebell workout' recently and in his article, he offered three alternative workouts, the first one called 'Just do it!'. This version is as simple as it gets: all you need to do is perform 500 kettlebell swings, each set lasting until technical issues or grip problems develop.

The second version requires more than just one kettlebell so you need to be 'well-belled', as Dan puts it, in order to perform this workout. Line up all the different kettlebells and do each set with the next one in line. The aim is still to perform 500 swings per workout but the reps depend on you. If you have smaller weights, do 15 reps with each bell. If you have a wider weight range, do 10 reps with each until you hit 500 reps altogether.

The third option is called the 'One-Stop Shop Approach' and it consists of two clusters of 250 kettlebell swings. In each cluster, you will be doing 25 reps of kettlebell swings with strength exercises in between. This is a full body workout with a lot of kettlebell swings in between.

And finally, let the man himself show you how to perform a proper kettlebell swing:
